16.25 oz Heavyweight Japanese Selvedge Denim Fabric
A substantial 16.25 oz Japanese selvedge denim featuring a rich indigo colour, rugged character and a rare blue selvedge line.
Woven slowly in Okayama on vintage shuttle looms, this 100% cotton fabric combines a rich indigo warp with a deeply dyed weft. This creates a bold, dimensional colour with greater depth across both sides of the fabric.
At 16.25 oz, it has a firm, weighty hand and is ideal for hard-wearing garments and accessories designed to last. With use, the denim will soften and develop distinctive creases, fading and character unique to the wearer.
The fabric is sanforized to reduce shrinkage, although a small amount of residual shrinkage may still occur during the first wash.

Washing & Care
Indigo denim naturally releases colour and fades with washing and wear. Wash separately, especially during the first few washes, as the indigo may transfer to other fabrics and surfaces.
For best results:
- Wash separately in cold water
- Use a mild detergent
- Avoid bleach and optical brighteners
- Do not tumble dry
- Reshape while damp and line dry
- Expect a small amount of residual shrinkage after the first wash
